The winners of the "Best Architects 19" awards - chosen among 361 candidates from all over Europe - were announced in Switzerland. The 70 award-winning projects, 12 of which were awarded the "Gold" special mention, stood out for their ability to give life to projects with an extra edge. The variety of selected projects shows that quality is not a question of budget, size or prestige. Rather, it originates from the commitment and enthusiasm of architects who for this reason, have received the award. In the residential buildings / multi-family building category, Ticino is represented by Inches Geleta Architetti studio and their project for Palazzo Pioda in Locarno. Palazzo Pioda is located in the Campagna district, in the direction of Solduno, a former agricultural area now used for residential, commercial, service and production activities.
