From August 2nd to August 6th, the 15th edition of the European Film Festival will take place in Rosario, Argentina, featuring a wide variety of films and short films from 13 European countries, as part of the central theme "Europe today " - contemporary films that highlight the challenges and opportunities offered by today's Europe. The 2018 European Film Festival is sponsored by the Delegation of the European Union in Argentina. Its realization is made possible thanks to the commitment of the Embassies and Cultural Institutes of Austria, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Portugal, United Kingdom, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, in addition to logistical support and coordination of the EUNIC of Buenos Aires. Italy participates with a documentary film, Fuocoammare, winner of the "Golden Bear" Award at the 66th edition of the Berlin Film Festival in 2016. The film will be screened on August 5th at 18:00  at the Asociación Familia Marchigiana di Rosario.
