(25 January 2019) The Italian Embassy in Copenhagen invites young Italian researchers across Denmark to submit applications for the second edition of the "BIRD Award 2019" programme. The awards will be presented to Italian researchers working in Denmark who have completed a part of their education in Italy, in recognition of innovative research conducted in each of the three areas of the European Research Council (ERC): life sciences (LS); physical and engineering sciences (PE); social sciences and humanities (SH). The deadline for submitting applications is 23 April.  The awards will be presented during a ceremony at the Italian Institute of Culture in Denmark during the Italian National Day of June 2019.
