The conference on the life and work of philosopher Giordano Bruno will be held on February 13th at 19:00 at the Italian Institute of Culture in Cologne by by prof. Thomas Sören Hoffmann (University of Hagen). The focus will be on his cosmology, his relationship with the philosophical tradition, his "mnemonic technique", and his theology of infinity. The purpose of the conference is to understand why Bruno can still be considered a "provocateur" towards consolidated ways of thinking.
