Dakar - The Board of Directors of Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, chaired by Giovanni Gorno Tempini, on the proposal of the CEO and General Manager, Dario Scannapieco, has approved new operations worth a total of approximately 1 billion euros. These funds will support the green transition, the development of strategic infrastructure, and initiatives that promote exports and collaborations between companies at an international level. In line with CDP's role in supporting the country's economy, the Board has authorized new initiatives aimed at large enterprises and Mid-Caps, particularly those active in the infrastructure sector. These initiatives will focus on projects dedicated to developing energy production from renewable sources and modernizing existing plants. Additionally, measures have been approved to assist national companies in their growth in foreign markets, aiming to strengthen their positioning and competitiveness through financing for internationalization and export. Furthermore, consistent with its role as a financial institution for Development Cooperation, the Board has approved new operations to support the sustainable growth of key industrial sectors for the African economy, such as energy.
