From Monday to Friday, BigItalyFocus provides an information overview, ranged from development aid to made in Italy
Italian Ambassador to Ecuador Giovanni Davoli has inaugurated the exhibition “Childhood and Rural Education” at the Alausí municipal headquarters in the Chimborazo province. The initiative, funded by the Italian Embassy in Quito as a gesture of support for the scientific cooperation carried out by Italian universities in Ecuador, was curated by the Italian Ethnological Mission in the Northern Andes. This research unit, sponsored by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is based at the University of Turin and Roma Tre University.
The exhibition represents an innovative effort, as it recovers and highlights the contents of a local archive, creating a historical narrative "from the ground up." On this occasion, the Ambassador was welcomed by the Mayor of Alausí, Remigio Roldán, with whom he discussed the commitment to international cooperation in the region following last year’s landslides, which caused significant human and material losses.
