Pernigotti and Walcor at ISM 2025: 15% more sales in international markets

Pernigotti and Walcor are taking part in ‘ISM 2025’, the world's largest confectionery and snacks trade fair, which opens on 2 February in Cologne, Germany. The two historical confectionery companies, controlled from 2022 by JP Morgan and Invitalia, will present new products for international markets. In fact, the total export turnover of the two companies is growing significantly, with a 15% increase in 2024 compared to the previous year and distribution in 45 foreign countries. ‘Our goal for 2025 is to expand the presence of our products in the United States and strengthen our positions in Europe, especially in the markets of France, Great Britain, Germany, Austria and Switzerland, acting in particular on the lever of innovation,’ explains Gabriele Oddo, International Business Unit manager of Pernigotti and Walcor. This new year still looks difficult, due to the cocoa/chocolate trend continuing its upward growth. This situation requires the entire production and distribution chain to make significant consumer price increases, which will most likely be reflected in a possible contraction of sales volumes. At the ‘ISM 2025’ trade fair, Pernigotti and Walcor will present all the latest innovations, which include the use of prestigious licences for some European markets, even in categories other than chocolate eggs, and a boost to the praline sector, with the iconic Gianduiotti and Cremini products, especially for gifting.
