The second episode of Linea Azzurri, the program created by Angelo Maietta and dedicated to Italian sports champions, is on its way. It will air on Saturday, March 1st, at 4:30 PM (New York time) on Rai Italia and will be available the following day on the RaiPlay platform.

This episode, set in Ivrea, a town in the province of Turin, features Maddalena Ferroni meeting Giovanni De Gennaro, a leading figure in Canoe Slalom. After winning Olympic gold at the Paris 2024 Games, De Gennaro will share the story of his long ascent— the result of years of sacrifice, dedication, and a deep passion for the water. From wild rapids to the most prestigious podiums, Giovanni will reveal what it truly means to be a champion and the inner strength required to face every challenge.

Additionally, alongside Mariella Petagine, Maddalena Ferroni will explore the theme of sustainability in sports and the local territories at the heart of this episode.
