After an initial stop in Switzerland, the international tour of Stracci della Memoria, the project by Compagnia Instabili Vaganti, officially takes off. Supported by the Consulta degli Emiliano-Romagnoli nel Mondo and organized in collaboration with the associations of Emiliano-Romagnoli around the world—including those in Madrid (Spain), Mar del Plata (Argentina), Bellinzona (Switzerland), and São Paulo (Brazil)—this artistic journey spans continents, bringing memory, identity, and culture to the stage through a variety of artistic languages.

The tour will unfold throughout March, starting in Spain before crossing the ocean to Argentina and Brazil. The program features a series of events, including a performative presentation of the book Stracci della Memoria, an experiential workshop, and the staging of the play Lockdown Memory.

The Spanish leg kicks off on Wednesday, March 12, at 7:00 PM at the Com.It.Es Cultural Center in Madrid. Organized by the Association of Emiliano-Romagnoli in Spain (ASERES), the event will feature readings and video excerpts from the book summarizing the Stracci della Memoria project.

From March 14 to 16, the tour moves to Argentina, with a stop in Mar del Plata curated by the Terra Mar Del Plata Association.

In Brazil, three key events are scheduled: on March 19, the book presentation in Rio de Janeiro; on March 23, a workshop at the Centro Cultural de Mogi Mirim; and on March 25, the theatrical performance Lockdown Memory at the Teatro Italia in São Paulo.

The play is also part of the Stracci della Memoria project, recalling the historical period of the pandemic and its social and personal repercussions.
