Grana Padano will participate in Foodex Japan 2025, which will take place at Tokyo Big Sight, Tokyo International Exhibition Center, from March 11 to 14. Foodex Japan is the most important agri-food trade fair in Japan, an annual event that presents industry innovations and attracts over 80,000 visitors from around 90 countries and regions, including more than 13,000 international buyers. This event, dedicated to food & beverage professionals, represents a great opportunity for the Grana Padano Consortium to strengthen its international leadership.
During this edition, the Consortium will organize various initiatives to highlight the versatility of Grana Padano. In particular, at Stand No. E3 - BB04, seminars on the cheese’s different aging stages will be conducted by Cheese Expert Yuko Sato, offering participants the chance to deepen their knowledge of the product.
Stefano Berni, General Director of the Consortium, expressed great enthusiasm for participating in Foodex Japan, emphasizing Grana Padano’s growing focus on exports. “Our results are the outcome of a constant commitment to enhancing our product. Thanks to the grated cheese agreement, the world’s most consumed PDO cheese is also experiencing double-digit growth in Japan, with a remarkable 35.04% surge recorded in 2024,” stated Berni.
