Seventy wine labels, including twenty dedicated to Chianti D.O.C.G. varieties: these are the numbers that the Chianti Wine Consortium will showcase in Germany at Prowein 2025. The event, scheduled in Düsseldorf from March 16 to 18, is one of the most important gatherings in the wine industry, bringing together wineries, experts, and enthusiasts.

The Chianti Wine Consortium will be located in Hall 15 – Stand C42 and will also have an institutional tasting counter dedicated to the denomination, featuring 51 different types of Chianti D.O.C.G.

"The European wine market," commented Giovanni Busi, president of the Chianti Wine Consortium, "sees Germany as a key player for our denomination. Prowein offers an opportunity for industry professionals to engage in discussions, especially considering the significant decline in sales volume across Europe in 2024. Rising production costs, reduced purchasing power, and a progressively slowing global economy have all had a negative impact. These are factors we must carefully analyze because, while we continue expanding into intercontinental markets, Europe remains an essential point of reference."
