From Monday to Friday, BigItalyFocus provides an information overview, ranged from development aid to made in Italy
The Aterballetto Company, one of Italy's most prestigious dance ensembles, continues its international tour in March, stopping in some of Europe's most important cities. Following its performance at the Teatro Regio di Parma on March 15, the tour will move to France and Spain.
The March program features a diverse selection of choreographies: the evocative poetry of Solo Echo by Crystal Pite, the expressive power of Rhapsody in Blue by Iratxe Ansa and Igor Bacovich, and the innovative energy of Shoot Me and Glory Hall by Diego Tortelli.
On March 18, at 8:30 PM, the Espace Jean Legendre in Compiègne (France) will host a performance featuring Solo Echo by Crystal Pite alongside two visually and musically intense pieces. These are Rhapsody in Blue by Iratxe Ansa and Igor Bacovich, a tribute to Gershwin’s masterpiece, blending dynamic energy and technical virtuosity in an explosion of movement, and Shoot Me by Diego Tortelli, a visually and emotionally powerful work that explores the themes of resilience and vulnerability through incisive and vibrant choreography.
The same captivating program will be performed again on March 20 at 8:00 PM at La Luna in Maubeuge (France) and March 25 at 8:30 PM at Théâtre Saint-Louis in Cholet (France).
The tour concludes in Spain, at the Teatro Arriaga Antzokia in Bilbao, where the company will present Solo Echo, Rhapsody in Blue, and Shoot Me on March 28 at 7:30 PM and March 29 at 7:00 PM.
