Italian companies take off for Japan: business mission to Tokyo and Osaka

Tokyo – Italian Fair Service and Aice (Italian Association for Foreign Trade), in collaboration with the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Japan, are organizing a business mission to Tokyo and Osaka from May 10 to 16. The delegation will include companies from sectors such as cosmetics, fashion, agri-food, design, furniture, home decor, personal technology, life sciences, robotics, home automation, and sports. The goal is to help businesses enter or strengthen their position in the Japanese market.

Japan is a strategically important industrial country with a strong domestic market and high purchasing power, making it particularly attractive to suppliers of high-quality and niche products. The country’s solid openness to global trade, further reinforced by multiple free trade agreements (such as the EPA in force since 2019), and Tokyo’s key role in the Asian economic landscape make Japan a privileged partner for Italy. Moreover, Japan serves as a gateway to emerging economies across Asia and represents one of the best investment platforms to capture the continent’s growth.
