Music / Young pianist Gabriele Strata at the Institute of Culture in Madrid

Madrid - On Thursday, April 10 at 8:00 PM, young pianist Gabriele Strata from Padua will perform a concert at the Italian Cultural Institute in Madrid, with a program entirely dedicated to the great Fryderyk Chopin. The event is organized by the Italian Cultural Institute of Madrid in collaboration with CIDIM (National Italian Music Committee) as part of the project "Young Italian Musical Talents in the World," resulting from the positive synergy between the Chigiana Music Academy, the "Incontri col Maestro" International Academy in Imola, and CIDIM. The project is supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation through the network of Italian Embassies, Italian Cultural Institutes, and Italian Consulates worldwide.
“Winner of numerous national and international competitions, at just 26 years old, Gabriele Strata is proving to be one of the most interesting musicians, regularly performing in concert halls around the world. For his performance in the Spanish capital, he has chosen a program of works by Chopin, focusing on Mazurkas, Sonatas, Nocturnes, Etudes, and Ballades — all the genres that made the great Polish pianist one of the most renowned composers worldwide,” says Francesco Pollice, President of CIDIM and the Italian Association of Musical Activities (AIAM).
“The event with Gabriele Strata is part of ‘In scena a Palazzo,’ a series of events promoted by our Institute. Thanks to the collaboration with CIDIM, we offer a space for a young Italian talent who combines great technique with an extraordinary interpretative ability, qualities that always attract attention and interest from the public,” concludes Susi Baldasseroni, Interim Director of the Italian Cultural Institute of Madrid.
