Bridging academia and Defense: LUMSA partners with NATO SFA Centre of Excellence

During an event organized by the Master’s Degree Course in International Relations and held in collaboration with the Cenacolo di Studi Diplomatici e Internazionali and the Germany-Italy-Europe Observatory (OGIE), Professor Francesco Bonini, Rector of LUMSA University, and Colonel Matteo Luciani, Director of the NATO Security Force Assistance - Centre of Excellence, signed a cooperation agreement yesterday at the university’s Giuseppe Dalla Torre Hall. The agreement defines key areas of collaboration: training, conferences, and research.
Immediately after the signing, a seminar titled "The NATO Security Force Assistance Centre of Excellence: Mission, Objectives, and Partnership Opportunities" was held, introduced by Professor Tiziana Di Maio, President of the International Relations course at LUMSA. The seminar featured presentations by Colonel Matteo Luciani and Major Ludovica Glorioso, Legal Advisor of the NATO SFA COE. The event was moderated by Nancy Varone of the Cenacolo di Studi Diplomatici e Internazionali at LUMSA University.
