Dakar – The Italian Cultural Institute of Dakar is hosting internationally renowned Italian bassist and composer Rosa Brunello, known for her skillful navigation of free improvisation, electric rock, dub, and South American influences. With a unique passion for blending acoustic and electronic sounds, Rosa pushes the boundaries of genre, fully embodying her motto: “music without borders.”
On May 29 at 9 PM, Brunello will perform in Saint-Louis as part of the 33rd edition of the Saint-Louis International Jazz Festival, which runs from May 28 to June 1. During the festival, the artist will present her latest album “Senseless Acts of Love.” She will be joined by Tamar Osborn (baritone saxophone, flute), Maurice Louca (guitar, synthesizer), and Marco Frattini (drums, percussion).
The concert is organized by the Saint-Louis International Jazz Festival and the Italian Cultural Institute of Dakar, in collaboration with the Embassy of Italy in Dakar.
