Madrid – Italy’s Ambassador to Spain, Giuseppe Buccino Grimaldi, joined Italtel Spain’s General Manager Alessandro Di Salvo and Alcobendas municipal representative Marta Martín García to inaugurate the new Italtel offices located in the Moraleja business district.
In his remarks to institutional representatives and Italtel’s management and staff, the ambassador praised the company’s long-standing presence in Spain—dating back over 26 years—and expressed his hope that its Italian identity will become increasingly visible and valued in a country that stands as a key economic and commercial partner for Italy.
Di Salvo provided an overview of Italtel’s presence and strategic interests in Spain and globally, noting the company’s plans to expand its telecommunications services into high-tech sectors such as cybersecurity and emerging models of cloud computing.
Italtel has operated in Spain since 1998 and currently runs four offices (Madrid, Barcelona, Ciudad Real, and Seville), employing over 230 people.
