New York – The Consortia for Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PGI and Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PDO will once again join forces for the second edition of “Le Terre del Balsamico,” at the 69th Summer Fancy Food Show, taking place from June 29 to July 1 at the Javits Convention Center. The umbrella consortium, which promotes Modena’s famed “Black Gold,” will be a featured presence in the Italian Pavilion with its own stand and as part of the ICE Lounge. The event will also include “Emilia-Romagna – Italy’s Food Valley,” organized by the Region of Emilia-Romagna, in collaboration with “Il Gelato by Patrizia Pasqualetti.” Leading the U.S. delegation for “Le Terre del Balsamico” will be Vice President Mariangela Grosoli and Director Federico Desimoni. As in the previous edition, the consortium will present its “Consortium Profile”—a segmentation tool designed to help consumers better understand the organoleptic characteristics of different PGI balsamic vinegars when making purchasing decisions. The event will also feature a talk on product authenticity and certified labeling, including a guest appearance by digital creator Robert Campana, known online for his campaign against “Italian Sounding” imitations. Visitors will have the opportunity to sample Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PDO in its pure form, deepening their understanding of this highly prized culinary product.
