From Monday to Friday, BigItalyFocus provides an information overview, ranged from development aid to made in Italy
New York – For the holiday season, the Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, once again turned to Italian fashion. During the Royal Family’s traditional Christmas service at St Mary Magdalene Church in Sandringham, Norfolk, she wore a brown-and-black checked coat by Blazé Milano.
The choice was reported by La Voce di New York, the Italian-language newspaper serving the Italian community in the United States. As journalist Filemone Troiano notes, the Made in Italy look was completed with a pleated wool skirt by Gucci and brown suede boots by Gianvito Rossi.
The coat itself carries special significance. Kate had previously worn it in January during a visit to London’s Royal Marsden Hospital, where she publicly announced that her cancer was in remission.
A subtle but powerful message, blending elegance, personal meaning and the enduring appeal of Italian craftsmanship on the international stage.
