Bangkok – One of Italy’s most iconic desserts, tiramisù, will be the star of a competition organized by the Italian-Thai Chamber of Commerce. Now in its third edition, The Best Tiramisù contest will take place on 11 March starting at 10:00 a.m. in Bangkok at the Impact Arena – Exhibition and Convention Center in Muang Thong Thani.
Professional chefs will be challenged to prepare both a classic tiramisù and an original version, with no restrictions on the ingredients used. A jury will select the winners in the two categories based on several criteria: appearance, texture, balance of flavors, authenticity/creativity, cleanliness and organization, and overall taste.
Each criterion will be awarded up to 5 points, for a maximum total score of 30 points. Participation requires prior registration.
