Fiorella Infascelli recounts the story of Falcone and Borsellino in her film “Era d’estate” at the ICI

(22 December, 2016) Asinara, 1985. A night like any other, Giovanni Falcone and Paolo Borsellino land on the island with their families. The transfer is sudden, swift, there is no time for packing – the threat of an attack on the two judges and their families mandated by the leaders of Cosa Nostra, intercepted by the Carabineri dell’Ucciardone is real. This is the opening scene of “Era d’estate” in theatres 23 and 24 May, 2016. The film was directed by Infascelli 24 years after the Capaci tragedy and focuses on the human relationship between Falcone and Borsellino. The film will be screened at the Italian Cultural Institute of Brussels on 9 January. An opportunity for the public to learn about two Italian heroes who have left their mark on Italian history.
