The virtuosi of the Scala theatre for the Beethoven festival

As part of the celebrations for the centenary of diplomatic relations between Italy and Poland, The Virtuosi of the Teatro alla Scala in Milan - one of the most prestigious orchestras in the world - will perform at the Warsaw Philharmonic as part of the 23rd Beethoven Festival, one of the largest musical events in Warsaw. The event will be held on April 16 and was organised in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute in Warsaw. Maestro Massimiliano Caldi will direct the Virtuosi through a repertoire of great passages by Giacomo Puccini, Giuseppe Verdi, Giulio Briccialdi, Gioacchino Rossini, Tomaso Vitali, and Nino Rota. The Virtuosi are an established group of musicians from the Teatro alla Scala Orchestra and La Scala Philharmonic who felt the need to make music together to share the artistic experience gained over decades of collaboration with the world's most famous conductors.
