Only fifteen, he began working in the most important Italian restaurants, such as Miramonti Majestic in Cortina d'Ampezzo, the Imperial Palace in Santa Margherita Ligure and the Golf Hotel in Punta Ala. The desire to go abroad and move to a tropical island has always accompanied Ferigo, who decided to leave Italy and bring his cousine to Bermuda. There Livio opened his restaurant, called Montecarlo, and conquered the palates of international guests who regularly visit the islands. In a short time, 'Benny' has become a star chef, also earning Three Michelin Stars and a Best of Bermuda Gold Awards.
Ferigo has not neglected its roots, continuing to successfully propose traditional Carnian dishes .
Among the distinguished guests of Louis Ferigo: former U.S. President Jimmy Carter, former Italian premier Silvio Berlusconi, and top models such as Naomi Campbell. (Peg)

THE FIRST BOOK BY LIVIO FERIGO
Like all world-class chefs, Ferigo has responded to the call of the publishing industry. Recently he reeled his first cookbook, "Love Bermuda. The Passion For Italian Cooking", while telling his story and that of his loved ones. The book describes the Carnic and international recipes served in his restaurants and Benny tells the story of his family. It also contains photos, testimonials and recipes of Ferigo's native town, Forni di Sopra.
