(Apr. 19) Though Lamborghinis have long sped along Moscow streets, buyers have had to shop abroad in order to acquire the rocket-like Italian automobile known for both for its high price and agility. This is now changing, as the auto-maker yesterday has announced the opening of a retail outlet in the capital in partnership with Burevestnik Group, a luxury-automobile and yacht company. Andrey Lomakin, co-owner of the Burevestnik Group, commented the new partnership: “We are very proud of representing Lamborghini in Moscow.” The official opening of the new Lamborghini showroom in Moscow at Kutuzovsky prospect 1/7 will take place later this year. In the meantime customers are invited to the Lamborghini showcase at the Crocus City Mall, where sales operations start immediately. Lamborghini Moscow will offer the full Lamborghini model range, warranty and maintenance services as well as sales of spare parts, accessories and the exclusive fashion line Collezione Automobili Lamborghini. With this opening, Lamborghini - who sold 26,000 vehicles globally last year - aims to strengthen its presence in foreign markets. (Peg)
