For the seventh year in a row, Fiumicino's "Leonardo da Vinci" airport is named Europe's best airport in the category of airports with more than 40 million passengers, joined for the first time by Ciampino's "Giovan Battista Pastine", awarded as the continent's best airport in the 5 to 15 million passenger category. Conducting the Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Award survey was the international trade association for airports around the world, Airport Council International (ACI) World, in cooperation with Amadeus, a leading travel technology company. ACI World analyzed the preferences of about six hundred thousand passengers at more than 400 airports around the world on more than 30 indicators related to the airport experience at departures and arrivals and, in addition to the Best Airport Award, honored the excellence of Roma Fiumicino in all categories considered: Airport with the Most Dedicated Staff in Europe, Easiest Airport Journey in Europe, Most Enjoyable Airport in Europe, Cleanest Airport in Europe.
