Mogadishu - As stated on the website of the Italian Embassy in Mogadishu, the sixtieth International Art Exhibition, organized by the Biennale Foundation and curated by artistic director Adriano Pedrosa, which will be open to the public in Venice from Saturday, April 20 to Sunday, November 24, will be themed "Strangers Everywhere". A section, called the "historical core," will feature works from the twentieth century from Latin America, Africa, Asia, and Arab countries. The exhibition will be enriched by eighty-nine national pavilions, including those of thirteen African countries. The Historical Core includes three rooms in the Central Pavilion: the room titled Portraits, the room dedicated to Abstractions, and a third room dedicated to the Italian artistic diaspora in the world throughout the twentieth century.
