Abu Dhabi - The inaugural session of the online Italian course (CLID Emirates) at level A of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, designed for students of Emirati nationality or residents in the UAE, was held on April 3rd. "Best of luck to all the new Italian students! We hope they quickly develop a passion for studying our beautiful language, which serves as the primary means of communication for our vast and valuable culture," stated the Facebook page of the Italian Cultural Institute in Abu Dhabi. The Ambassador of Italy to the UAE, Lorenzo Fanara, the Director of our Institute, Susanna Iacona Salafia, and the coordinator of the CLUSS Center at the University for Foreigners of Siena, Professor Carla Bagna, extended a warm welcome to the new students.
