The Italian Ambassador to Tunis, Alessandro Prunas, visited the headquarters of STMicroelectronics NV, an Italian-French company and a world leader in the semiconductor field, located in the capital. According to the Facebook page of the Italian Embassy, the company "has been in Tunisia for 23 years, designing electronic components, thanks to a team of over 250 young engineers, 43% of whom are women."
