Algiers – ICE, the Agency for the promotion abroad and internationalization of Italian companies, in collaboration with UCIMA (Union of Italian Manufacturers of Automatic Packaging Machinery), is organizing the Italy Pavilion at the Djazagro 2025 fair, scheduled to take place in Algiers from April 7 to 10. Djazagro is the most important event dedicated to the food industry in the North African region. Machines and equipment for industrial bread-making, pastry, and biscuit production, as well as for the industrial manufacturing of pasta, have been the primary agro-industrial equipment exported from Italy to Algeria, with a total value of nearly 12 million euros and a 37% market share, making Italy the leading supplier to Algeria.
