"Sono Lino" has won the Best Documentary award at the Chelsea Film Festival in New York and received the Audience Award for "Best Art, Architecture, and Design" at the 25th edition of the Newport Beach Film Festival. The director recalls how meeting Tagliapietra in February 2020, shortly before the pandemic, deeply impacted his life. The documentary began as a personal, intimate project, with Patrick choosing to follow the master on his travels across the globe, exploring iconic locations such as Murano, Seattle, and Biot in France. With simplicity and great respect, Patrick captures not only the beauty of his works but also the artist’s magnetic spirit, bringing his energy and humility to the screen.
