“Visioni Sarde” celebrates Sardinia through cinema

Stockholm - On November 18 at 6:00 PM, the Comites of Stockholm, with support from the Embassy of Italy in Sweden and the Italian Cultural Institute, will present Visioni Sarde, a showcase celebrating Sardinia through its cinema. Screenings will take place at the auditorium of the Italian Cultural Institute as part of the Week of Italian Cuisine in the World, offering a cultural experience that combines cinema and gastronomy.

The program includes the following short films: La punizione del prete by Francesco Tomba and Chiara Tesser, Tilipirche by Francesco Piras, Ti aspetto qui by Gabriele Brundu, and Incappucciati, Foschi by Nicola Camoglio. The films are in Italian and Sardinian, with English subtitles.

Attending the event will be Massimo Appolloni, President of Comites and delegate of the Italian Academy of Cuisine, who will introduce the event alongside Italian Ambassador Michele Pala and directors Nicola Camoglio, Francesco Tomba, and Chiara Tesser.

Following the screenings, a buffet featuring Sardinian specialties will provide a complete immersion into the island's culture. (9colonne)
