From Monday to Friday, BigItalyFocus provides an information overview, ranged from development aid to made in Italy
Groningen – The Italian Cultural Institute of Amsterdam will take part in the Focus on Italy at ESNS25 (Eurosonic Noorderslag), one of Europe’s leading music events, set to take place from January 15 to 18 in Groningen.
ESNS, an independent platform founded in 1986, shines a global spotlight on European music talent, providing groundbreaking opportunities for emerging artists. Focus on Italy will serve as an exceptional showcase of the Italian music scene, featuring performances by 16 up-and-coming Italian artists, including Bassolino, BigMama, COMRAD, Daniela Pes (nominated for the Music Moves Europe Awards), Ele A, España Circo Este, Evita Polidoro, Indian Wells, James Jonathan Clancy, Justin Adams & Mauro Durante, Kharfi, Kyoto, LA NIÑA, okgiorgio, Post Nebbia, and R.Y.F.
These artists will have the chance to perform in front of music industry professionals, international media, and a broad audience as part of the European Talent Exchange Programme. ESNS has been instrumental in launching the careers of many European artists, including AURORA, Stromae, Christine and the Queens, Fontaines D.C., and Hozier.
In addition to live showcases, ESNS25 will feature a series of thematic panels with some of the top experts from the Italian music industry. Focus on Italy at ESNS25 is made possible with the support of Agenzia ICE, Emilia-Romagna Music Commission – ATER Fondazione, Puglia Sounds – Medimex, Linecheck Music Meeting and Festival, ESNS, and RAI Radio 2.
