Two new postage stamps have been issued to celebrate diplomatic relations between Italy and Peru. According to Poste Italiane, the stamps were released today by the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy. Designed by the Center for Philatelic Studies of the Italian State Printing Works and Mint, the stamps form a diptych. One stamp represents Italy, depicting the Palazzo della Farnesina (home of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Rome) with Arnaldo Pomodoro’s Sphere sculpture. The other stamp represents Peru, featuring the Palacio de Torre Tagle in Lima, the headquarters of the Peruvian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
