A recital entirely dedicated to Chopin, performed by young pianist Gabriele Strata, will take place at the Chopin Salon in Warsaw on February 27 at 8:15 PM. The concert is part of the project "Young Musical Talents Around the World", promoted by the Accademia Musicale Chigiana, the Fondazione Accademia Internazionale "Incontri col Maestro" in Imola, and CIDIM (Italian National Music Committee), and is organized by the Italian Cultural Institute of Warsaw.
“Gabriele Strata, a very young pianist from Padua, is undoubtedly one of the most promising emerging artists, as evidenced by the many awards he has received in recent years. He regularly performs on some of the most prestigious stages in Italy and abroad. His talent is indisputable, and we are certain it will be appreciated in Warsaw as well, where practically every day an event is dedicated to Chopin, the great composer born right here in Poland,” says Francescantonio Pollice, President of the Italian Association for Musical Activities and Vice President of CIDIM.
"As part of the festival celebrating Fryderyk Chopin's birth, which welcomes young pianists from around the world every year," states Fabio Troisi, Director of the Italian Cultural Institute, "we are proud to present Gabriele Strata, one of the most talented artists of his generation, to honor the great Polish genius and highlight how his legacy remains alive in Italy.”
