On May 6 at 6 PM, journalist and editor-in-chief of Il Mitte, Lucia Conti, will present the essay "Verso una memoria condivisa (Towards a Shared Memory)" by Gino Chiellino, in conversation with the author and with Maddalena Tirabassi, director of the Centro Altreitalie publishing house. The event is promoted and funded by Comites Dortmund and will be streamed live on the Comites Dortmund Facebook page and Zoom. The essay offers a deep reflection on the role of Italians as a model of integration, the transformation of migration into a quest for identity and belonging, and the contributions of Italian communities to the culture of host countries—with a particular focus on the German context.
