Naypyidaw – The Danieli Group has announced a donation of €48,000 to humanitarian organization Cesvi in support of populations affected by the recent earthquake in Myanmar. The funds will be used to purchase first aid kits and food, as well as provide temporary shelters for families left homeless by the disaster.
“Solidarity is one of the founding values of our group,” said Group President Alessandro Brussi. “In times of emergency like this, it is essential to act decisively to provide concrete help to those most in need.” Thanks to Danieli’s support, “Cesvi is intensifying its emergency response to support civilians severely affected by a major humanitarian crisis,” said Roberto Vignola, Deputy General Director of Cesvi. “We are active on the ground, providing food assistance, distributing essential supplies, and protecting the most vulnerable, such as women and children. With Danieli’s help, we were the first Italian NGO to deliver aid to the most affected communities in the southern Shan region, Mandalay, and Sagaing, areas lacking safe shelters, clean water, sanitation, reliable electricity, healthcare, and other vital services. Support from organizations like Danieli is crucial in emergencies that require immediate action.”
