From Monday to Friday, BigItalyFocus provides an information overview, ranged from development aid to made in Italy
Sydney – The stand of the COMITES of New South Wales drew many visitors during the Republic Day celebrations held last Sunday at Sydney’s Club Marconi. For the occasion, a photo exhibition titled “Faces and Stories of Italians in NSW”, curated by Marcella Marziani, was presented. The exhibition showcased archival photographs highlighting the contributions of Italians to the cultural, social, and economic development of the state.
“It was particularly moving,” read a statement from COMITES Sydney, “to witness people recognizing themselves in the images on display and sharing those memories with their children and grandchildren — valuable testimonies of a collective memory that remains alive and deeply felt.”
In addition to the exhibition, the COMITES offered information on Italian citizenship recognition, consular services, and the ongoing referendum vote.
