Hanoi – “Semiconductor and AI Collaboration Italy-Vietnam” is the title of the upcoming workshop organized by the Italian Embassy in Hanoi in partnership with Vietnam’s National Innovation Center. The event will take place on Thursday, May 29, at the Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park in Hanoi.
The workshop aims to explore opportunities for collaboration between Italy and Vietnam in the strategic sectors of semiconductors and artificial intelligence, encouraging dialogue among institutions, research centers, and innovative enterprises from both countries.
The event will open with a B2B session between Italian and Vietnamese companies and will be inaugurated by Vietnam’s Vice Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Finance, Le Thi Thu Hang and Nguyen Duc Tam, together with the Italian Ambassador to Vietnam, Marco della Seta.
The technical segment will focus on shared priorities in research and industrial application of emerging technologies, featuring contributions from leading academic and industry experts.
The initiative is part of a broader strategy to strengthen the scientific and technological partnership between Italy and Vietnam and will also mark the 8th edition of the Italian Research Day in Hanoi.
