New York – A new international cultural hub has been established in New York: the Miceli Arts Foundation, dedicated to promoting music, art, and young talent. The foundation draws inspiration from Maestro Stefano Miceli, a prominent figure in the global music scene.
“Maestro Miceli’s example is a guiding light and a source of inspiration for entire generations here in New York,” said Roderick Williams, Vice President of the Foundation.
Miceli is recognized not only as a renowned conductor and pianist, but also as a mentor, educator, and cultural advocate. The Foundation seeks to become a catalyst for opportunity, supporting and nurturing artistic talent through scholarships, training programs, concert productions, and international partnerships.
Created by a group of passionate American admirers of the Maestro, the Foundation aims to strengthen ties between New York and the world’s cultural capitals — particularly Italy — by offering emerging artists exceptional opportunities for growth, visibility, and mentorship.
Among its key initiatives is the launch of the New York Academy Orchestra, the Foundation’s official ensemble. Its debut performance, a highly anticipated cultural and spiritual event, will take place on November 6 with Mozart’s Requiem Mass at the world’s most visited cathedral, Saint Patrick’s Cathedral in Manhattan, conducted by Maestro Miceli himself.
