Paris – Italian Defense Minister Guido Crosetto attended the Paris Air and Space Show at Le Bourget, where he met with his French counterpart Sébastien Lecornu. The two ministers discussed key international issues and reaffirmed bilateral cooperation in the defense sector.
“The cohesion of the West, both within the EU and NATO, remains a fundamental value,” Crosetto emphasized. “Italy and France are leaders in the aerospace industry — a symbol of European excellence and collaboration. In a global landscape marked by growing competition, maximum synergy is needed to ensure strategic autonomy, security, and progress in vital fields like space and aeronautics.”
Crosetto added that the aerospace sector is not only critical to national defense but also to economic growth and must be supported with determination.
