Brighton – Saturday, July 5, will be a full day for Comites London and the volunteers from the charity Settled, who are organizing a series of public events to connect with and support the local Italian community.
At 11:00 AM, the regular Comites meeting will take place at Brighton’s Jubilee Library. The agenda includes approval of previous minutes, brief updates from the president and treasurer, a discussion on the theme of community unity, and updates on upcoming initiatives such as the Brighton Italian Festival, the San Gennaro Festival, and the book presentation The Secret of Nefertiti. There will also be a session on consular services.
The meeting is open to the public, both in person (upon email registration at segreteria@comiteslondra.info) and via livestream on the Comites London Facebook page.
In the afternoon, from 2:00 PM, a public meeting will focus on issues relevant to Italians in the UK, including Italian language education and access to key information and services. The Settled team will also be available to provide practical guidance on the EU Settlement Scheme.
