From Monday to Friday, BigItalyFocus provides an information overview, ranged from development aid to made in Italy
The annual summer celebration of Italian cinema returns to Ankara this July. Organized by the Italian Embassy in Turkey and hosted at the CerModern Museum, the fourth edition of Cinema Estate Italiano will showcase a selection of films that reflect the vibrant creativity and renewed energy currently defining Italian cinema.
The program features the following titles:
July 1 – La storia del Frank e della Nina, directed by Paola Randi (2024)
July 8 – 10 giorni con i suoi, directed by Alessandro Genovesi (2025)
July 15 – Hey Joe, directed by Claudio Giovannesi (2024)
July 22 – La scommessa, directed by Giovanni Dota (2024)
July 29 – Io e il secco, directed by Gianluca Santoni (2023)
August 5 – Amici per caso, directed by Max Nardari (2024)
August 12 – L’ultima volta che siamo stati bambini, directed by Claudio Bisio (2023)
August 19 – Indagine su una storia d’amore, directed by Gianluca Maria Tavarelli (2023)
August 26 – Zamora, directed by Neri Marcorè
This year’s selection offers a rich and diverse cinematic journey, highlighting the voices, stories, and visions shaping today’s Italian film scene.
