Book & Wine Club brings Italian culture to life in Pretoria

Pretoria – The Italian Book & Wine Club returns with a unique blend of literature and wine. Hosted by the Italian Cultural Institute in Pretoria, this monthly event offers a full-sensory experience of Italian culture, pairing timeless works of literature with curated wine tastings. From now through October 30, participants can gather at Tutto Vino at the Italian Club of Pretoria to enjoy readings in English of major Italian classics including: The Tartar Steppe by Dino Buzzati, A Girl Returned by Donatella Di Pietrantonio, Italian Folktales by Italo Calvino, Arturo’s Island by Elsa Morante. Each session invites guests to discover Italy’s literary treasures over a glass of fine wine—an ideal match for lovers of both books and good taste.
