Rebuilding Ukraine for Europe: international meeting on constitutional and institutional challenges

The international seminar “Ukraine 2025 – Constitutional and Institutional Challenges for Ukraine’s Post-War Reconstruction on the Path to the EU” was held on July 14 in the Aula Magna of the University of Genoa. The event was organized by the Department of Law at the University of Genoa, in collaboration with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and Prometheus LLC, with the aim of increasing interest in, and promoting awareness and understanding of, the Ukrainian issue. The seminar featured the participation of a Ukrainian delegation composed of Vladyslav Rashkovan, Executive Director at the International Monetary Fund; Andrii Zhupanyn, Member of the Ukrainian Parliament and Chair of the Subcommittee on Natural Gas Policy; Max Nefyodov, co-founder of the NGO Technology of Progress and former First Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine; Anna Babych, Executive Partner at the law firm Aequo; Roman Puchko, urban planner, co-founder and CEO of ReThink and co-founder of the Ukrainian Green Building Council (UGBC); Evgeniya Blyznyuk, CEO and founder of Gradus Research and former Head of the Analytics Department in the Office of the President of Ukraine; Iurii Barabash, Professor of Constitutional Law at the “Yaroslav Mudryi” National Law University (who joined the event online); Ievgeniia Kopytsia, researcher at the Faculty of Law at the University of Oxford and member of Oxford Net Zero; and Viktoriya Trotska of Prometheus LLC. For the University of Genoa, academic coordination was overseen by Enrico Albanesi, professor of constitutional and public law, with organizational and logistical coordination managed by Angelo Musaio, Head of the International Cooperation Development Unit.
