Barcelona – Actress Iaia Forte and singer-songwriter Diana Tejera will bring to life “A Wonderful Life: A Tribute to Patrizia Cavalli” at the Teatre Lluïsos de Gràcia in Barcelona.
The event is organized by the Italian Cultural Institute as part of the Week of Italian Language in the World and the 4th edition of FLIB – the Festival of Italian Literature in Barcelona.
“A Wonderful Life” is a portrait in verse and song dedicated to Patrizia Cavalli, one of Italy’s most celebrated contemporary poets. Through poetry, prose, and music, the performance guides the audience into Cavalli’s rich and intimate universe — where love, jealousy, and fleeting joy coexist with her characteristic irony and lightness.
Forte’s voice gives body to Cavalli’s words in a vivid and emotional narration, while Tejera’s original music weaves a subtle and evocative soundscape. Together, they craft a moving homage to a poet who transformed everyday feelings into luminous art.
