Sept. 23 - Big eyes and red hair, a great passion for music and theater, but above all, a great voice. Ariana Grande, born in 1993, is a Boca Raton singer with Italian origins. Today Ariana, who gained notoriety thanks to a number of musicals and TV series, is ready for business. Ariana, who is of Sicilian and Abruzzi origins, has her debut album at the top of the Billboard 200, "Yours truly." The record has been praised by critics and defined the most interesting album of the year. "Yours truly" is fresh and original: for the ' Huffington Post, Ariana Grande is "one of the best debuts of the year," compared to another great singer of our age. "The star is being heralded as the next Mariah Carey." The "little" Mariah Carey has already reached success and recognition. After performing in Broadway at age 15 (as Charlotte in the musical 13) and having participated in some shows, like Victorious (aired in Italy on Raidue and Rai Gulp), Ariana showed the world her true talents. Ariana is now in the same category as 14 other lucky female singers who managed to place their debut album at the top of the Billboard, which had not happened since 2010.

"Yours Truly" has already sold, in less than 10 days, more than 130,000 copies, ranking number one on iTunes in over 40 countries worldwide. For the album, Ariana collaborated on "Almost Is Never Enough " with Nathan Sykes from The Wanted, a song that went on the soundtrack of the film The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones (The video is available at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b87dBaL4qI0 and has already reached 9 million views) and on "Popular Song" with Mika. The album’s first single is "The Way," which reached # 1 on iTunes and the Top 10 Billboard Hot 100, going double platinum with 92 million views for the video.
