Washington - The chairman of the Civitavecchia, Fiumicino and Gaeta Port Authority, also President of Assoporti, Pasqualino Monti, was honored in Washington by NIAF, the National Italian American Foundation. During the thirty-ninth anniversary of the Awards Gala, Pasqualino Monti received the International Business Award, one of the six coveted awards of the event, for the following reasons: "While in Italy Monti was creating the conditions to make Civitavecchia the first port for cruise passengers, he also signed commercial agreements with the ports of New York and New Jersey to develop trade and maritime traffic, gaining the trust of his institutional partners as a serious and credible figure."
