(4 June 2018) The BMX World Championship in Baku are set to begin today until June 9th. A world championship, the fourth that Azerbaijan will host, which already promises a good show because there are no speed limits on the road to success. The Italian team lead by Coach Francesco Gargaglia has recently landed in Baku: "Baku has a particular track because unlike others, it has many stretches where you have to pedal, given the long distance between one jump and the other. This means that riders must demonstrate not only technical skills, but also speed and great resistance". The races will begin tomorrow, June 5th: "The event will take place mainly in the evening, as the races will always be at night. This is why we have postponed training times in the last period. In addition, along with all the staff, we have prepared a detailed work plan that I hope will lead us to give our best. We have clear minds and we are ready ".
