The Italian Cultural Institute of Bucharest organised the "Christmas Concert" by Matteo Fedeli & Solo d'Archi Ensemble. The event will be held next Thursday, December 6th, at 19.30, at St. Joseph Cathedral in Bucharest. The artistic mission of Matteo Fedeli is to bring the sounds of instruments of the famous Cremonese violin makers Amati, Stradivari, and Guarneri to the general public. As the ambassador of Italian Culture in the United States, he annually performs concert tours in several American States visiting prestigious venues such as the splendid Severance Hall in Cleveland. He was appointed Culture Officer in the United States of America on behalf of the Italian Foreign Ministry. For the great sensitivity shown in supporting solidarity with major concert events and recognition of his artistic career, he was awarded the Knight's Cross of the Order of Malta, the Knight's Cross of Merit of the Sacred Military Constantinian Order, three Paul Harris Fellow and the ILICA New York 'Man of the Year' award.
