The exhibition of the winning projects of the first edition of the Tuscany Architecture Prize will be inaugurated tomorrow at 5 pm in Tirana - at the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy. One hundred and fifty participants, twenty selected works, five absolute winners in as many categories. Organised by the Italian Institute of Culture in Tirana in collaboration with the Regional Council of Tuscany, the Order of Architects of Florence, the Order of Architects of Pisa, the Federation of Architects of Tuscany, the Florence Architects Foundation, and the Tuscany Ance; the initiative aims to stimulate the debate around contemporary architecture and to restore the composite regional scenario in the five years between 2012 and 2017. The debut edition was divided into five categories - opera prima, new construction, restoration or recovery, installation, interiors, works on public spaces, landscape and regeneration - on which prof. Marco De Michelis, architect Sandy Attia, architect João Luís Carrilho da Graça, architect Simone Sfriso of TAM associati and prof. Guido Borelli, members of the international jury.
